Barramundi, also known as Asian Seabass, is prized for its mild, buttery flavour and delicate, flaky texture. Our fillets are individually wrapped for convenience, making them easy to portion and prepare. A versatile fish that works beautifully grilled, baked, or pan-seared, barramundi is a delicious choice for both healthy everyday meals and elegant dinners.
Defrosting Instructions:
Defrost barramundi fillets in the fridge overnight, or place in a sealed bag under cold running water until thawed. Cook within 24 hours of defrosting. Do not refreeze.
Cooking Tips:
Bake at 200°C for 12–15 minutes with olive oil, lemon, and fresh herbs. Pan-sear skin-side down until crisp, then flip and cook for a further 2–3 minutes. Barramundi is excellent in Asian-inspired dishes with soy, ginger, and garlic, and pairs well with steamed rice, stir-fried vegetables, or fresh salad.
