Defrosting Instructions:
Place tuna steaks in the fridge overnight, or defrost in a sealed bag under cold running water. Cook within 24 hours of defrosting. Do not refreeze.
Cooking Tips:
For best flavour, sear tuna steaks quickly over high heat for 1–2 minutes per side for medium-rare. The centre should stay pink for a tender, juicy result. Season simply with sea salt, black pepper, and lemon, or marinate with soy sauce, ginger, and garlic. Slice thinly across the grain and serve with rice, salad, or roasted vegetables.
