Cooking Instructions:
From frozen, place purses on a lightly oiled baking tray and cook in the centre of a preheated oven at 180°C (Gas 4) for approximately 40 minutes, until golden brown and piping hot throughout. Adding a little oil to the tray helps keep the pastry base crisp.
Serving Tips:
Serve with creamy mashed potatoes and steamed greens for a comforting meal. They are also delicious with roasted root vegetables and a red wine jus, or paired with chips and peas for a hearty pub-style classic.
