Description:
Our smoked haddock fillets are naturally smoked for a rich, savoury flavour with a firm, flaky texture. A versatile classic, they are perfect for traditional dishes like kedgeree, fish pies, or simply poached in milk and served with parsley sauce. Flash-frozen at peak freshness to maintain quality and taste.
Defrosting Instructions:
Defrost smoked haddock slowly in the fridge overnight, or place in a sealed bag under cold running water until thawed. Cook within 24 hours of defrosting. Do not refreeze.
Cooking Tips:
Poach gently in milk for 6–8 minutes until cooked through and tender, or bake at 200°C for 12–15 minutes with butter and seasoning. Smoked haddock is delicious in creamy chowders, fish pies, or flaked into pasta dishes, and pairs beautifully with poached eggs for a hearty breakfast.
