Defrosting Instructions:
Defrost plaice fillets slowly in the fridge overnight, or place in a sealed bag under cold running water until thawed. Cook within 24 hours of defrosting. Do not refreeze.
Cooking Tips:
Pan-fry plaice fillets in butter or olive oil for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. They can also be baked at 200°C for 10–12 minutes with a squeeze of lemon and fresh herbs. Plaice is delicious with new potatoes, steamed vegetables, or a light salad for a simple, wholesome meal.
