With no small bones and a rich, satisfying taste, monkfish is a versatile choice for both everyday meals and special occasions. Flash-frozen at peak freshness to lock in quality and flavour.
Defrosting Instructions:
Defrost monkfish fillets slowly in the fridge overnight, or place in a sealed bag under cold running water until thawed. Cook within 24 hours of defrosting. Do not refreeze.
Cooking Tips:
Pan-sear monkfish for 3–4 minutes per side until golden, then finish in the oven for even cooking. It is excellent roasted with herbs and garlic, grilled with spices, or simmered gently in curries and stews. Monkfish pairs beautifully with Mediterranean flavours, citrus, or a creamy white wine sauce.
