Our halibut fillets are firm, meaty, and naturally mild in flavour, making them a versatile favourite for both everyday cooking and special occasions. With a steak-like texture that holds its shape well, halibut is ideal for grilling, roasting, or pan-searing. Flash-frozen at peak freshness to lock in quality and taste.
Defrosting Instructions:
Defrost halibut fillets slowly in the fridge overnight, or place in a sealed bag under cold running water until thawed. Cook within 24 hours of defrosting. Do not refreeze.
Cooking Tips:
Season simply with olive oil, salt, and pepper, then bake at 200°C for 12–15 minutes or pan-sear for 3–4 minutes per side until cooked through. Halibut pairs beautifully with fresh herbs, citrus, or creamy sauces, and is excellent served with roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables, or a light salad.
